Last year Declaration 1776 literally came out and blasted onto the t-shirt scene with extremely high quality products, designs and frankly a very nicely branded package. Since their initial release last year Declaration has been turning heads and gaining fans left and right, and honestly I’m not surprised.

Declaration 1776 has made a name for themselves by putting out high quality products and their newest line picks up right where they left off. The entire line was designed by the man, the myth, the legend Jeff Finley of GoMedia. He did an absolutely fantastic job creating a line that is both cohesive and appealing.

While I really enjoy all the pieces in the new line my favorite has to be “The Rebellious Stripes“. The tee was based off the Sons of Liberty and their original flag in 1767. As the site states the flag had nine alternating red and white stripes which represented the nine colonies attending the Stamp Act Congress. Long story short I am loving the red stripes that almost look like blood smeared across the heather grey tri-blend, beautiful.

The entire line is printed on American Apparel complete with sewn hem tags, which are always a nice touch. Each tee sells for $24 and can be picked up at: www.declaration1776.com

Well the time has finally come; 3 new tees from Alrighok are now up for sale on the newly designed alrightok.com!

The new designs at first glance look almost like they belong to a completely different brand then when they started. These designs are much more mature, dark and solid. The illustration work has really taken a step up and I love how these tees are released as a set.

The tee set titled “Quietus” features a pretty dark and sobering looking creature that reminds me vaguely as a cross between a bad ass Casey Jones (TMNT) and The Grim Reaper.

As I mentioned each tee in this release is part of “the set” and is labeled in phases.

Tee 1 Phase 1: (WANT) Instill fear and the perceived need for protection.
Tee 2 Phase 2: (DIVIDE) Use fear to easily divide the masses
Tee 3 Phase 3: (CONTROL) Assume control once resolve has been weakened.

I absolutely love this more mature, directed and polished look that Alrightok is offering this time around and really hope they continue to travel down this path.

Their newest release is comprised of two tees, two hoodies and three belts. The latest designs are definitely a bit more loud and command a little more attention than their previous offerings.

Unfortunately when looking at the line by itself you are really only getting two new designs one of which is a remix of an old design, but when you step back and look at what Skilla has to offer as a whole it’s definitely more impressive. The line now is comprised of tees, hoodies, belts, polos, and even a tote bag. For an upcoming line it is extremely impressive to see this kind of diversity throughout the line.

The new hoodies will set you back $40, while tees are priced at $22 and belts are $12.50.
