They have amassed almost 3,000 facebook fans, over 2,000 twitter followers and have released 4 youtube videos even before launching their brand! Now that’s working your tail off folks.

So let’s talk about the brand a bit. ladyumbrella.com is a line strictly aimed towards women, or I guess men that like to wear women’s clothing ; ) They are based out of Dublin Ireland and are ran by the dynamic duo of Rob and Elena. Rob pretty much runs the brand while leaving the design work up to Elena, they have actually posted a very cool video about how Lady Umbrella Clothing comes to life.

Lady Umbrella’s style is artsy, cartoonish, fun and usually center around the “Lady Umbrella” character. With this very approachable yet relaxed style I can definitely see this brand appealing to a wide range of women.

The tees are printed on 100% pure combed cotton custom made LadyUmbrella t-shirts, and are described as soft on the skin and nicely fitted. Each shirt will set you back €24.99, so if you live in US you are going to definitely pay a bit more with exchange rate.

Overall I think lady Umbrella did a phenomenal job getting their line in place for success. Everything they have put together up to this point has beyond professional and we wish them the best of luck!

Submit & Remix is artist Dan Mumford‘s fresh and new approach to starting a clothing line. The basic premise is S&R is teaming up two incredible artists to in fact remix each other’s designs. The way it works is S&R handpicks each artist and gives them both a theme to work from. After each artist creates their piece, it is sent to the other artist working on the series for a “REMIX” allowing each artist to reinterpret the other’s design!

For Series 1, S&R came out of the box swinging with two incredible artists, Keaton Henson and Horsebites (aka Richard Minino). Now anytime you can say the names Dan Mumford, Keaton Henson and Horsebites in the same sentence you should know you are in store for something pretty incredible. And guess what folks, the first line is all of that!

The price of each shirt is £24.99 or roughly $40, which is definitely a bit steep, but when you are looking at the quality of the artists producing the shirts it makes it a bit easier to justify. I personally havent been able to see the shirt in person, so I cant comment on the quality but I am sure its very good.

The last thing that I really enjoyed about Submit & Remix is the personality behind the brand. I really enjoyed reading about the artists whom created the series. Unfortunately the artist can be the most easily overlooked person in the tee shirt equation, but S&R is doing a phenomenal job giving personality to their brand and the artists behind their series. Im looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for these guys!
