Okay maybe that headline is a bit misleading, but looking through 8-Bit Zombie’s long awaited summer line magically whisks me back to days when the only care in the world was Nintendo. Let me just sum up the entire 8BZ line for you, in the words of Lucas Barton of The Wizard fame, “It’s so bad!”

Honestly this long awaited summer line delivers on every level. With 8BZ finally releasing a proper line of shirts along with their already infamous hats, 8 Bit is set for their most successful line to date.

Usually at this point I point out my favorite pieces, but honestly I am having a very hard time picking. I mean how is a man supposed to pick a favorite when you are dealing with such amazing Nintendo based themes such as Double Dragon, Ninja Gaiden, Bionic Commando, Skate or Die, Castelvania, Punch Out, and of course classics Mario and Zelda.

Besides transporting back to my 80′s youth, what I love most about this line is the fact that 8BZ has decided to finally release tees along with their hat line. As awesome as the 8BZ hats are not everyone can pull the look off. I really think adding t-shirts to the brand is going to open up a lot of doors and introduce some new customers to 8 Bit Zombie.

All tees are competitively priced at $18 and are printed on American Apparel and trucker flip hats at $15. I think $18 is the perfect price point for the new line of tees. Having a $18 price tag is extremely inviting and affordable to potential new customers. Not only to mention the killer price point of these tees, but damn with 11 different shirts to choose from you have an absolutely amazing selection to choose from!

Bottom line this is one of my favorite releases this year!

I don't wear that style of hat, but if I know someone who does, I know where I'm going to point them.
