Viva La Revolucion!

I have always been a huge sucker for type based tees and have often hoped for more companies such as Ugmonk that center their brand around typography. Well Sydney, Australia based La Revolucion has hit the scene and while they are not solely a typography based tee line they do have a few solid designs in their arsenal that are typed based as well as few other solid designs to boot.

Aside from the designs I am really digging La Revolucion’s attention to detail. Each shirt comes complete with a custom tee tag as well as a shirt tag sewn on the bottom hem of the shirt which adds a bit of polish to the shirts.

La Revoluvion is definitely a brand that is proud of their Australian roots, with almost all of the tees featuring an element that has to do with Sydney, Australia or Australian culture. While at first I was a bit turned off by the fact that almost all the designs feature some sort of Australian heritage, I actually think on second thought this might not be a bad thing. With shipping costs from the other side of the world, maybe it’s best that La Revolucion concentrate on growing their brand within their own country and possibly expanding down the road.

I will definitely be keeping an eye on these guys as their brand continues to grow!
