I Am Your Present: Presents “Cuts of Meat” Dresses

A little while back, we did a feature on the 20 Craziest Bacon Products around. Why do we like meat themed products so much? It could be just because we love meat…or because there are so many creative individuals out there that keep making amazing stuff!

One of these amazing individuals is Kelly, who is the designer behind the shop I’m Your Present. She’s not only a graduate from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BA in Apparel Design, but she puts these skills to use making everything from clothing to jewelry and accessories. With almost seven thousand sales to date, there is no doubt that she is doing something right!

Cute animals, including puppies and kittens, as well as pink bows and pearls make up the majority of these wonderfully girly wares. One particular item of clothing though caught me by surprise.

The ‘Cuts of Meat’ dresses are by far my favorite pieces in her entire shop. The concept is so original and kitschy that I can’t help but love it! What girl wouldn’t love to have the words ‘Rack’ across your
chest and ‘Rump’ across your backside?

As a collaboration piece with a printmaker who is a friend of hers, the dresses come in short sleeve and tank styles as well as also coming in a variety of colors, from black, cream, blue and lilac just to name a few. Each dress is made to order, comes in sizes XS to L and costs $52, which isn’t too bad considering all the work that goes into making just one of them.
