This new Rockett line has finally been released and from what I am seeing I am digging it! This batch of shirts are about as loud and in your face as Rockett has been in a while. While the current trend lately seems to be leaning more towards muted colors and designs, it looks like Rockett has decided to stay away from that and keep pummeling us with huge designs and a lot of color.
The new line has a very nice blend of illustration based tees as well as photography based tees which definitely caught my eye. In all honesty I tend to lean more towards the illustrated pieces in this line just for the simple fact that I really dont care for designs that have bold straight edges on the shirt. To me it just looks like I am wearing a huge rectangle that wasnt designed to be on a shirt. That being said I do like the images they used for the photography based shirts, I just wish there was someway to soften up the harsh edges.
My overall favorite piece in the line is “Tanked” by Derek Deal. I absolutely love the style of the illustration and coloring of this shirt and to me this design just sticks out out of the crowd. If I had to pick my favorite photography based design it would have to be “Ghost Ride“, everything about this tee just oozes creepiness in a good way!
Overall the new Rockett line has a lot of extremely solid pieces and a few pieces that I am not crazy over but when looking at the release as a whole they did an absolutely fantastic job.
Aside from the new Spring Release Rockett is also offering a ton of tees at only $10! Visit www.ridetherockett.com to check out the entire new line!
