If you have been a frequent reader of Iamthetrend.com you probably know that Miles To Go is one of my favorite indie clothing lines, so of course with their new release their is some serious excitement on my end! That excitement is well warranted for their new release. The Spring release features 10 new products including five brand new designs and some re-works of old designs.
Miles To Go has always done a great job picking some of the best artists around to use for their designs and this release is no exception. This line brings us two designs from Keaton Henson, as well as designs from Godmachine, Dan Mummford and Dave Quiggle.
As with with all Miles To Go designs, each piece is carefully thought out and pertains to a story, poem, book or idea, this to me is what separates Miles To Go from many indie brands. The mere fact that they take the extra time to really put a lot of thought into what they produce really says a lot. Instead of just slapping some cool looking design on a shirt and calling it a day, you are wearing a piece of meaningful artwork.
Overall I absolutely love the new release. My favorite pieces are the Keaton Henson designs “The Invisible Man” and “Master and Margarita“, both of these tees expand on the “Miles To Go Look” and add a bit of diversity to the overall line and both designs look fantastic on American Apparel Tri-Blend Coffee.
All shirts are printed on American Apparel and shirts run a very fair $21.99. Aside from the tees, MTG has also added 18″ x 24″ silk screened posters of “Medusa” and “The Struggle” for $25.99.
