When I first came across this shop, I thought the concept was awesome! What <a href=”http://www.sevenply.etsy.com”>Seven Ply does is turn old and broken skateboards into wearable art! They make everything from earrings and rings to belt buckles and
necklaces. The prices are also reasonable ranging anywhere from $14-$32 for a pair of earrings, necklaces range from $26-$28, rings are $18 and belt buckles are $34. I love the way these pieces are not only eco-friendly, but also stylish and affordable.
“Our Mission is to rescue, recycle, and reuse broken skateboards by turning them into a unique piece jewelry. We’re breathing new life into these seven layers and converting this scuffed up boy toy into something beautiful for her. Saving one skateboard at a time Seven Ply is “Turning Thrash’n into Fashion”. Who doesn’t like going green in style! Each piece is handmade and one of a kind…. accessories with a story.”
Seven Ply has been featured in publications such as NYLON, BUST, BLISSS and Italian Glamour just to name a few. They will also be participating in the Broken Skateboard Artshow in Philly, April 23rd to the 25th.
