I absolutely love tee companies that have a greater purpose and mission behind their brand. HEAL (aka Helping Extreme Athletes Live) is definitely one of these companies. What really separates HEAL from other charitable clothing brands is that they actually target individual athletes that have been injured while taking part in extreme sports. Each athlete that gets “sponsored” by HEAL gets a tee/hoodie that is specifically designed for that athlete and the proceeds from that tee are donated directly to that athlete or their charity.
Take for example motocross rider Doug Henry. Doug was paralyzed from the waist down in a supermoto accident, but through will and determination he has made a bike that allows him to ride while being paralyzed. At this moment HEAL has put out two tees with proceeds will be donated to help Doug through charity Road 2 Recovery.
Aside from having a great cause HEAL actually has some great looking tees and hoodies. Most tees are $23 and hoodies are around $45.
