Tell us a bit about yourself!

My name is Nick, and I’m from the Philippines. I work as an Illustrator and I also run a clothing line called “NICK AUTOMATIC”

When did you first start designing?

I first started out designing back in my early elementary days, sketching cartoons and just doing draw, scan and fill stuff. I didn’t know what VECTOR were at that time and did everything freehand.

What’s the average work day for you like?

Actually really fun. My favorite part is dealing with the challenges the different clients bring when wanting a design.

If you weren’t designing, then what would you be doing?

Hmmm, maybe a teacher, I dunno, never thought anything else besides designing!

What’s the one thing you need to design?

hmm anything I guess, I’m pretty flexible when it comes to designing and don’t need much to get me going.

What’s your favorite design you’ve done?

The most fave stuff I’ve done was for OF MICE & MEN and MISS MAY I. Those really show off some of my abilities.

Any tips for aspiring artists?

DON’T RIP! That’s the most simplest advice I could give!
