The T-Shirt Vault Is Giving Away $10,000 In Prizes!

Ladies and Gentlemen I bring to you the next tee shirt competition website The T-Shirt Vault Now before you jump to any conclusions about this site just being your standard run of the mill tee competition hear me out. The TSV runs like this; artists can submit their artwork by February 22nd and if accepted by TSV it will be available for sale starting March 1st.

Now this is where the competition actually begins, after tees are accepted sales will be tracked of each t-shirt, whomever sells the most tees in the alloted time wins the grand prize of $5,000 as well as a $3 royalty of each shirt sold. Actually the top 5 grossing tee shirts will net prizes of $5,000 for 1st, $3,000 for 2nd, $1,500 for 3rd, $1,000 for 4th and $500 for 5th place. Even if your tee doesn’t make the top 5 the artist still receives $3 from every sale of their shirt.

This format really pushes the artist to get out there and hustle their design and try and drive sales to the website. The business model is definitely interesting and makes sense. The only problem that I see, is that most artists are unfortunately not business men and I don’t see them hustling their designs. That being said if this site ends up attracting some very talented artists because of the prize money and royalties; TSV could become a great source to pick up some new threads.

For any other details or if you are an artist whom would like to submit a design check out: www.thetshirtvault.com

Sounds like a great competition with excellent prizes, but I notice this column doesn't inform us of the cut off date for the ” Tshirt sales race”. We really don't know if we will be promoting our design for a month or a year before getting our prize. This would be very helpful information. Thanks.
