I know I’m a bit late in posting this but I guess it’s better late then never! So a couple weeks back Shrimp Sauce released their second offering since inception. The new line is comprised of 3 new tees, a crew neck and a hoodie.

The new line picks up basically right where the last left off with monochromatic design and some interesting illustration. Ponce Monster is my favorite design out of the collection and looks great on the crew neck, but I would have really been excited to see it on a tee.

With two releases under their belt Shrimp Sauce is going a great job establishing a recognizable style for their brand. But with that being said I really would like to see more from this company. Maybe a bit more color, and a few more options, which I am sure will come in time as the company grows.

Speaking from hands on experience I can vouch that the quality of the shirts and printing is top notch as well as the packaging. Each shirt comes folded over a backer board and secured using netting, which really fits with the whole “Shrimp Sauce” theme.

The tee’s are a bit more expensive than I would prefer for a company trying to build a following. As I mentioned the quality is there, but these are 1 or 2 color prints, and it’s a bit hard for me to justify spending $28 on a new company. With that in mind their initial line is on sale right now for $14-$16 making it a great time to grab some quality shirts at a low price.

In closing, I dig the Shrimp Sauce vibe, I love the packaging, printing and the fact that they print on American Apparel, but for me the price point is a bit to high and I wish they had a few more options. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on these guys!
